Rubin Honored at Regional Startup Awards Banquet

The Rubin team is honored to be a finalist at the 757 TechNite awards reception. The event took place on Thursday, October 9 at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, Virginia.

We were among the nominees for the “Innovation in Education” award. The award recognizes an individual or organization that has transformed education in technology or entrepreneurship. Recipients stand out for their creative approaches to teaching, curriculum development, and educational technology. Their work demonstrates a clear commitment to improving student outcomes, inspiring a love of learning, and preparing students for the future.

While we didn’t take home the prize in our category, we are happy to support efforts around entrepreneurship and be considered among the region’s best.

Here are a few photos from the night!

This week, Rubin is the featured “mini-doc” by InnoVAte Hampton Roads, a resource network for startups in Southeastern Virginia.

In the video, Rubin founder Danny Rubin and Director of Instruction Alexis Kruemcke discuss the work we do with educators and students across the country to strengthen employability skills. In the video, we also hear from elected officials in Virginia Beach, where Rubin is based, on the value of our company’s resources for the next generation.
