VACTEA 2025: Seeing Friends, Deepening CTE Relationships

VACTEA 2025: Seeing Friends, Deepening CTE Relationships

We had the best time on Wednesday, October 15 seeing old friends and making new ones at VACTEA, the annual gathering of CTE directors from across Virginia.

At the conference in Harrisonburg, we mingled with administrators who provide Rubin in their classrooms (like Prince William County and Alexandria, pictured) and shared our information with potential new customers.

We are also proud to sponsor (for the second year in a row) a trivia night competition!

Rubin Founder Danny Rubin stands with Dr. Tricia Jacobs (left) and Sarah Black from Alexandria City Public Schools. Alexandria is one of the longest-running Rubin customers dating back to our company’s founding. We are grateful for their partnership and trust.

Marketing teacher Anna-Lisa Wanack from Nacogdoches Independent School District in Texas stands by her Rubin poster about the power of strong writing. Wanack relied on Rubin when she taught in Virginia Beach City Public Schools in Virginia. As soon as she landed in Texas, the Rubin posters and employability skills products returned.
