Scenario for your email:

You see an opportunity posted online for a summer internship at a Flash5, a popular tech company in your city. This will be a competitive internship search so your email must make a great first impression.

The email recipient is Ms. Rebecca Wilson, the human resources manager. Flash5 is a leader in cloud-based data storage facilities, and its clients include major tech firms like Waddle, 540T and Luminaire. A Flash5 intern needs to be curious, hardworking and dependable.

In your email, explain to Ms. Wilson how you are impressed with the growth of Flash5 in recent years as evidenced by the major companies it serves. In addition, share at least three activities or skills of your own (ex: leadership positions, clubs, sports jobs, internships, volunteer roles and any technical skills or software you use). Explain how your activities and/or skills would make you ideal as a Flash5 intern.
