Job Type: Part-Time (estimated 16 hours a week)

Rubin is the leading provider of online curriculum tools that teach employability skills (ex: email/phone etiquette and job interview prep) and career exploration. Our resources are used by schools, colleges and workforce programs across the country to prepare learners for the world of work. Customers include Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and The School District of Philadelphia.

Position Overview:
Rubin seeks a Operations Specialist to support the sales process for prospective customers and onboarding of new customers. The role is critical to ensure small details don’t fall through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft sales quotes and invoices
  • Develop mock curriculum guides for Rubin materials as a preview/demo for prospective customers
  • Provide general support to Rubin Founder Danny Rubin as he meets virtually with prospective customers
  • Assist with assorted administrative and project-related tasks that come about at a fast-moving ed-tech startup

Qualifications:

  • Being detail oriented is a must; the day zips along and the little things matter most
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply; you don’t need multiple years of work experience
  • Comfort with technology and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace)
  • Have a positive attitude and a natural ability to hustle
