Elementary School

College and career readiness from the very start

Trust Rubin to provide the fundamentals of an employability skills online education. Every elementary student should understand the basics of digital literacy, email etiquette and how to communicate properly (writing and speaking) with parents, teachers and peers.

While the Rubin online program is designed today for students starting at 6th grade, our team is developing resources more appropriate for grades 4th and 5th.

The curriculum will include:
  • How to identify the different parts of an email
  • How to write an email to a parent, teacher or peer
  • How to learn to be curious, ask questions and hold meaningful conversations
  • How to write emails or speak to people when you need to ask for assistance (ex: raise money for a cause or youth group)
