New “How-to” Videos Coming to the Rubin Education Online Curriculum

After business hours on Wednesday, January 19, an office building in Virginia Beach was a hub of energy and a film crew yelling, “action!”
That’s because Rubin Education founder Danny Rubin gathered a half dozen young professionals to stage a series of “how-to” instructional videos for the Rubin Education online curriculum, a learning platform that teaches students critical communication skills for the job search and the workplace.
During the three-hour video shoot, the group tackled important topics like:
- How to shake hands and make eye contact
- How to call employers on the phone
- How to hold face-to-face networking conversations
- How to answer an employer’s questions during a job interview
- And more!
As well, every young professional “actor” looked into the camera and shared his/her best career advice for students.
The videos will be available inside the Rubin Education online curriculum by January 2019. Teachers who use the program will receive an email notification when the content is ready.
