Listen up!
Rubin Education plans to incorporate 60-second audio segments to its online curriculum in winter 2019.
The segments, called “Take My Word for It with Danny Rubin,” provide educators short yet substantive “mini-mini podcasts” they can play in the classroom to set up a discussion or classroom activity.
The audio topics will complement the three major themes in the online curriculum: employability skills, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Residents of the Norfolk-Va Beach area will also hear the “Take My Word for It” segments on 89.5 WHRV, the local radio affiliate of National Public Radio (NPR).
We will post a sample audio clip in early February. The full library, organized by topic (ex: interoffice communication), will be available in the online curriculum for participating schools and organizations.
